Family Shelter Renovation
SAEHC�s Family Shelter has been serving homeless families with children for over 38 years. We are in the process of updating and expanding this vital facility. The agency plans to completely rebuild the shelter in four phases. Each phase is designed so that no families will be displaced during the process. The completed shelter would serve 19 families at a time, almost a 50% increase!
Please consider helping homeless families at our shelter site by donating one or more of the following items:
Household items:
New or gently used twin sized bed sheets and blankets
New pillows & pillowcases
New washcloths & towels
Kitchen appliances (crock pots, coffee makers,
microwaves, toasters etc.)
New Kitchen items (Utensils, cups, plates, pots, pans
etc.)
Everyday Supplies:
Diapers (all sizes, but larger sizes preferred)
Baby wipes
Travel size toiletries
Disinfectant spray & wipes
Toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex
New underwear, undershirts, bras & socks in all sizes
Fresh vegetables & fruit
Gift cards for gas, food & discount stores
Major Donations:
New vacuum cleaner
A pick-up truck in good running condition for our
maintenance team
