MCC Sports Court

The staff at Mather Community Campus (MCC) have only one dream for the children that they serve, a multi-purpose sports court. The sports court could provide games of basketball, tennis, and even volleyball for the approximately 100 children who reside with their families at MCC. Anyone who had the opportunity to play sports as a child knows how beneficial it can be for children both physically and emotionally.

Family Shelter Renovation

SAEHC’s Family Shelter has been serving homeless families with children for over 38 years. We are in the process of updating and expanding this vital facility. The agency plans to completely rebuild the shelter in four phases. Each phase is designed so that no families will be displaced during the process. The completed shelter would serve 19 families at a time, almost a 50% increase!

Large Items

Our Family Shelter's truck has over 250,000 miles on it and is on its last legs. We use this truck to pick up large donations, to get furniture for families leaving the shelter, and to get our groceries every week.  If you have a used truck that still has a few good years left on it, please consider making a donation to our agency.  Call (916) 454-2120 x 302 or email donations@saehc.org for more information.
